You’ll have the option to choose between the HTC VIVE, the Oculus Rift or the PSVR to experience 80+ games and applications. Whether you want to go on a single player adventure or challenge your friends in multiplayer, strap on your headset and literally escape into an adventure.

The PlayStation 4 VR is the latest headset to join the trio, launched with several exclusives games and experiences. From driving high octane supercars in GT Sport to fighting your way through hostile alien worlds in DOOM VFR, come face to face with a hungry great white shark, new worlds are waiting for everyone with PS VR.

The HTC VIVE might just be the best VR headset right now, which is why it’s on top of this list. Its strength is the ability to use an open space of about 4.5 by 4.5 meters. It uses more than 70 sensors including a MEMS gyroscope, accelerometer and laser position sensors to find the user’s position accurately and translate it immediately into the application that they are using.

It has a stereoscopic OLED display, 1080×1200 resolution per eye, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and 110° field of view. It has integrated headphones which provide a 3D audio effect, rotational and positional tracking. The positional tracking system, called “Constellation”, is performed by a USB stationary infrared sensor allowing for the user to use the Rift while sitting, standing, or walking around the same room.
